Besides, if you go in person, you can get batteries at the same time.

That's probably what upset his mother then. She tried to teach him to buy top of the line, not the ceap model.

Mom should be glad it was her son's package that was misdelivered and not hers.

I have a close tie. The local "porn shop" in my hometown pastes on their marque, [name] was caught shoplifting [product], [date] when someone attempts to steal something. It stays up until the next incident. Now THAT is embarrassment. Also, the shop is close to the main drag, so the entire community will see it if it's up more than a week or so.

Oh yeah, the guy probably asked the sexshop to put his mother's name on the package.

heh. One of the beer distributors where I went to college had a wall of shame covered with fake IDs they'd confiscated over the years.

What Karl never figured out was that the package had been delivered to the next door neighbor by the postal "service." They'd opened it without checking the address and when they realised what had happened, he wrote a note explaining why it was opened and took it out and leaned it against the correct mailbox. When the mother went out, she picked the package up and since it was already open, saw what was inside.

What Karl never figured out was

Leading to an soaking deluge of 1 votes? I am wet - my closes are drying, but the ride to and home from work was soaking. I thought I'd found a dry gap, but a soon as I was on the freeway, it was RAINING. I had to stop and buy a dry pair of jeans on the way to the office. :((
