Is Stargate real ? if so why Nasa uses expensive Rockets to go to other Planets. I love astronomy. Finding life in other planets its very interesting for me. i came across a Series in TV that's called Stargate SG1, i forever wondered if there was something like that. As fun as it might be to think that something like the Stargate in SG-1 is real, if it was it would have been leaked to the press by now, and we'd be watching it on CNN instead of the SciFi network. Still, just because it hasn't yet been discovered is no reason to give up hope that it will. :-D

I think there are one of two ways to look at, either they do and you'll never know about it or they don't and it's a pointless fantasy. Either way it's more fun to read / watch good science fiction and trawl the science journals for interesting real world scientific advances.

Sure is! I have 'gateway' at my house it's not as big as the one on SG-1 needless to say it gets me to holiday destinations quick.

I have a third way to look at it... If it exists, and allowed a TV show about it, then if newspapers ever tried to publish anything about it the government could discredit the papers by responding that the journalist has been watching too much TV. Not that this contradicts your conclusions, but I sometimes wonder :) Chris
