If it makes you feel any better he posted it in the C# forum as well, and idioting in that forum is always fair game. :D

I'm not sure I see the problem. She's got a budget and is asking for someone to host her and tutor her - for pay. Could be fun for someone, I suppose. Her budget's very low for a first world country, but I suppose there are lots of english speaking people in other countries where her budget would be just fine. Perhaps it's not PC to post what amounts to an advert, but for some reason this one doesn't get me all PO'd, whereas other ads do. Am I missing something? Cheers, Drew.

Just today, I received an e-mail from someone overseas that has a lot of money he wants to transfer out of the country for investment purposes - perhaps I should anonymously forward the message to the student to enhance his chances of finding and affording his dreams. +

$300 per week, 1200 per month is a lot of money in Asia. The market rate for a software developer in Lebanon with 3 years of experience is 1200-1500: IT Salaries[^] and Lebanon is way more expensive than china or India. I am not defending that person, if I needed a tutor I would find a school and even if I want to post in a forum I would probably do that in the Job forum or something. But what I am saying is that I dont find anything to mock about that post. That person doesnt deserve some of the replies he got...

Yeah, that's kind of how I saw it too... If you don't ask, you don't get! I knew someone once that would ask for a discount whenever he bought anything. Four out of five times he would get it too!
