Hmmmmm. So you're suggesting that we have a "Let's see what we have to do to offend John" contest? I like it!

    Best wishes, Hans

Um...err... I'm going to go lock myself in the basement. Let me know when it's over.

OK, to kick it off...I think John actually likes to watch Dancing With The Stars, and afterwards locks himself in the bathroom and practices the dance steps he's just seen. Top that!

      Best wishes, Hans

It means that I don't think anything is really that serious on this site ;) But it mostly means that you're going to have to try far, far FAR harder to even remotely offend John. In fact I'm not even sure it's possible.

Man, this thread is really marching across the page! I can't even tell what you're responding to. But it sounds positive, so I guess no one will take immediate offense. :)

I watch it as a reasonable attempt to appease the gods. These are the same gods that ensure a good hunt, or victory in hand-to-hand combat (which doesn't include switching hands when slapping around ol' Mr. One Eye). Smart men do not intentionally anger the gods. :)

Actually, only one person has offended me here on CP, and it happened in 2003 (I think). I won't bother dredging it up again, but the person also left many other regular users aghast at what he said. Other than that one thing, Chris is right. People would generally have to work long and hard to find a way to offend me.

That;s not going to even get him out of bed to bother answering it. I think you'd have to dig deep and mention his love of Celine Dion, small fuel efficient Korean cars and of spending his Sundays pamphlet dropping for the Peaceful Cardigan Wearers And Gun Control Activists Society. Then you may get a rise.

I don't even know what cardigan is. We actually have a Hyundai in the family. Celine Dione? I'd hit it - as long as her mouth is taped shut... and she's handcuffed... and tied to a... - oh wait. :)

If calling him an "effeminate, clueless, Indian, rent-a-coder wannabe, W*F loving, asp.net web developer" doesn't work nothing will.

LIES! ALL LIES! LIAR! I am NOT a web developer! (I thought this answer would be funnier)
