WorkPlace Ethics

Well Do any of u have any Unconfortable/grudgy Rules in ur workplace... Well My friend always grudge abt her workplace becos they are not suppose to eat anything inside the cubicle or in office premise and so whenever she has to eat she has to do out and eat..Till now she didnt complain but since now she is pregnant :-D She feels more hungry and so she has to do lots of walking to get a bite of food ;P..I really feel pity of her... Do u too have such irritating rule......:wtf::omg: cheers, Super ------------------------------------------ Too much of good is bad,mix some evil in it
Ethics and rules are two different things. I try to be a very ethical employee ( for exmample, I would not write a mag or CP article that exposes stuff proprietary to work ), but as far as rules go, where I work is pretty relaxed about things that don't matter for people who understand what does matter, and apply themselves to it. That's how it should be - we're skilled workers, not plumbers. Christian Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. VB has always lacked even that... - Shog9 04-09-2002 During last 10 years, with invention of VB and similar programming environments, every ill-educated moron became able to develop software. - Alex E. - 12-Sept-2002

Well I was once warned about public kissing! But then I guess they had a point. Other than that my work place is very relaxing :-) Except for the lack of bandwidth :-( Nish

You are the intrepid one, always willing to leap into the fray! A serious character flaw, I might add, but entertaining. Said by Roger Wright about me.

Michael P Butler wrote: This sounds juicy, care to share any more details Er, not much of detail really. I just had this habit of kissing a girl who sat next to me, every time some complicated bug was overcome or when something worked after 2 days etc... Apparently other people didn't appreciate this much. I wonder what could have been bothering them!!! Nish

;) It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.

For example we don't have even partial nudity in our movies and even kissing is shown from a long angled shot. Michael P Butler wrote: Envy and jealousy Hmmmm. Yeah that too :-) Nish

I guess that's why India is so good at cricket, all the other fun stuff is frowned upon :-D Saying that, I'm not sure how people would react if I started kissing my coworkers (especially since they are mostly blokes). The English seem to have a problem with the friendly kiss - must be our Victorian roots showing. Michael Programming is great. First they pay you to introduce bugs into software. My bosses are also developers, and it's a young company. It rules. I took a pay cut to work there, and my last job was far from terrible, it was pretty darn good, too.
