I just had this habit of kissing a girl who sat next to me, every time some complicated bug was overcome or when something worked after 2 days etc... Apparently other people didn't appreciate this much. I wonder what could have been bothering them!!! Nish

;) It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.

We have white walls with nothing on it, and it's not allowed to put a callendar or sth. similar on it, every chair is in the company the same, and: these chairs are so f...ing bad X| and lots of these things, it's CI....:omg: But all in all I like it here anyway...!:-D

Ethics and rules are two different things. I try to be a very ethical employee ( for exmample, I would not write a mag or CP article that exposes stuff proprietary to work ), but as far as rules go, where I work is pretty relaxed about things that don't matter for people who understand what does matter, and apply themselves to it. That's how it should be - we're skilled workers, not plumbers. Christian Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. My bosses are also developers, and it's a young company. It rules. I took a pay cut to work there, and my last job was far from terrible, it was pretty darn good, too. This is the kind of stuff really pisses me off. When will companies start treating their staff as human beings. Don't they realise a happy content worker will be more productive. Michael Programming is great. First they pay you to introduce bugs into software. Then they pay you to remove them again.

VB has always lacked even that... - Shog9 04-09-2002 During last 10 years, with invention of VB and similar programming environments, every ill-educated moron became able to develop software. - Alex E. - 12-Sept-2002

Surprisingly, my personal code which mandates that I ignore stupid rules rarely causes an ethical conflict.
