Don't be ashamed - that doesn't help you with your diet, and it's the result of a medical condition, not a bad lifestyle.

Well, technically, I had the bad lifestyle before the medical condition. The medication just added to it.

It's the new touchy feely JSOP. He comes free with a packet of Kleenex and a chick-flick.

Its awkward. With the original JSOP you always knew he had his finger on the trigger and the barrel was aimed at his current object of derision, you always felt the aura of man points off of him and mostly, you knew you couldn't blink. This one gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Have no fear - I was merely testing my new "barely a man" camouflage. I was worried that I had gotten part of it wrong, but it seems I nailed it the first time. I modeled it after a "typical Indian male" (for what I hope are obvious reasons).

Do you even know what a hobnob is? Get your mind out of the gutter. Had you taken the time to find out, you would have realised that a hobnob is a rather tasty biscuit available here in the UK. It happens to be one of my favourites.

I know I can often be seen as somewhat wishy-washy, but I have a deep and heartfelt respect for my fellow human beings, and being of considerable age (when compared to the fine examples of humanity as we have here on CodeProject), I feel more of a need to guide rather than reprimand. I honestly hope you - and everyone else - understand.

Hey, being 1-voted might not be as bad as it sounds. I dread to think how many people's days I've ruined by voting "1" when what I really wanted to do was go to page 1.

It also states "Please don't post ads". This is an ad, and is also cross posting. Please be considerate of the community.

I do not want to be at war with a community I consider myself part of. CodeProject is one of my favorite web sites. I've been a member for 5 years, and I happily contributed several articles and posts. The CodeProject community voted Evolutility 3rd place winner of the code generation contest (last year) and gave me valuable feedback. I'm grateful for it. I thought this community would be happy to help me push my open source further this year. That's why last week I asked for votes on 6 of the 45 forums, and on my 3 articles about Evolutility. I also asked on the loundge today. I understand the need for moderating forums. You may label my calls for votes "ads", and remove them from the forums, but removing them from my own articles on the same topic seems unfair. Anyway, I got the message, it's your site, and your rules. I'll comply. Thanks for making one of the coolest site on the internet.

I appreciate the post. The way I have to look at it is: What would happen if everyone posted this kind of message? It would be a mess. In any case, I did remove one of your posts from your forum and for that I apologise. It was not intended.
