Have no fear - I was merely testing my new "barely a man" camouflage. I was worried that I had gotten part of it wrong, but it seems I nailed it the first time. I modeled it after a "typical Indian male" (for what I hope are obvious reasons).

Nope, I didn't - I very rarely vote in these contests. Mind you - you are a glutton for punishment, aren't you? You've trolled across the forums posting these links and been 1 voted in every case. Surely that gave you a hint that this behaviour wasn't endearing you to people.

Hey, being 1-voted might not be as bad as it sounds. I dread to think how many people's days I've ruined by voting "1" when what I really wanted to do was go to page 1.

I do not want to be at war with a community I consider myself part of. CodeProject is one of my favorite web sites. I've been a member for 5 years, and I happily contributed several articles and posts. The CodeProject community voted Evolutility 3rd place winner of the code generation contest (last year) and gave me valuable feedback. I'm grateful for it. I thought this community would be happy to help me push my open source further this year. That's why last week I asked for votes on 6 of the 45 forums, and on my 3 articles about Evolutility. I also asked on the loundge today. I understand the need for moderating forums. You may label my calls for votes "ads", and remove them from the forums, but removing them from my own articles on the same topic seems unfair. Anyway, I got the message, it's your site, and your rules. I'll comply. Thanks for making one of the coolest site on the internet.

I appreciate the post. The way I have to look at it is: What would happen if everyone posted this kind of message? It would be a mess. In any case, I did remove one of your posts from your forum and for that I apologise. It was not intended.
