I'm considering putting together some web seminar stuff if I can make it easy enough to do and use. That said, I'm pretty much ignorant of what's worthwhile and what's not. Google turns up a lot of course, but I'd be more interested in hearing from real people (er, that would be you) who have used them and can offer the pros / cons of particular tools. Don't mind paying for stuff that's doing me some good, but until I see if there's a tangible payback financially (either directly or indirectly) from the webinar thing, I'd prefer to find free solutions to get started. And of course, my site is C# / .NET, so if it has to plug in it needs to be compatible stuff rather than PHP or other Penguin technologies. Any thoughts?

Yes - I must ding you *ding* for using crapchat - webinar. Arggghhhhh - that's just one step from Web2.0.

We run webinars with gotomeeting, and they work pretty good. The URL is basically what you'd expect it to be :-)

What makes gotomeeting great is that you can bring someone in with a simple URL and an access code, no complex URL required. Good software.

Looks like good stuff, although I'm not ready to commit to $50 a month until I see if this sort of thing will help me make money. Capitalist that I am, you know. :)

"Many : not conversant with mathematical studies, imagine that because it [the Analytical Engine] is to give results in numerical notation, its processes must consequently be arithmetical, numerical, rather than algebraical and analytical. This is an error. The engine can arrange and combine numerical quantities as if they were letters or any other general symbols; and it fact it might bring out its results in algebraical notation, were provisions made accordingly."
