Hi, (not sure if this type of message is ok here, just reply if not and I'll delete it) I have been looking for flash drives in bulk (between 100-250 drives) for a few weeks. I also need printing on each (logo), etc. I'm planning to give these away as promotional items, so I'm obviously looking for something that's relatively reasonable. I can't seem to find drives that cost less than about $5.60 each for 256Mb. I realize that I'm getting printing on them, but 256mb?! The price seems high for the tiny capacity. If you know of any place that sells bulk, preferably blank (without printing on the outside), USB Flash drives, please let me know. I'm also open to getting just the chip and connector since I'm thinking of making my own packaging for them if it comes to that. Thanks, Erik

Large parts of the cost once you get that small are fixed. The enclosure, controller, printing, etc are the same price at any capacity. IF you're concerned about the legitimacy of the price, look at what you get charged for 512mb/1gb models; unless the 256's are old enough that they're being offered at a loss to flush inventory I suspect the prices will be almost identical. The cheapest single drive from newegg is ~$10; and I rarely see much less than that except on sales.

I don't know how trustworthy the electronics are, but I have purchased a few other items from this website and they seem to be very good for the price. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but I figured I would give it a shot. http://www.wholesale-outlets.com/plastic-flash-drive-1gb-three-colors/p-ff8080811c1c9c84011c226327755fab.html[^]

Make sure you skope them out via reseller ratings, etc first. Bogus escrow services are popular among fleabay scammers.
