Super-geeks who make a lot of money, sure. Your average geek, probably not. This is also about IT geeks. You have other geeks out there. :)

Like the "I know the value of PI to the value of 1 billion decimal places" geeks? :-D

If everything was not true, would it be not true that everything is not true? So by saying everything is not true, you are automatically denying that everything is not true. Im so confused... FreeDOS - An open source modern MS-DOS/PC-DOS replacement.

Only geeks would worry about such things, and need to read/write articles about it. Nerds like me have always got the girls.

        body geeks?

Personally, I love the idea that Raymond spends his nights posting bad regexs to mailing lists under the pseudonym of Jane Smith. He'd be like a super hero, only more nerdy and less useful. [Trevel]

I used to apply things to my wife. That's perhaps why she's now my ex wife? :)

Then there are geeks who got lucky, found the one true love long ago, and have no need or desire fore anyone else. It also helps that you like who you are - you wont have to 'get' anything, it will come to you. :-\

I'm a geek that got the beautiful girl (married going on six years now); and I'm not much to look at. I never had much difficulty getting dates. It all boils down to confidence.

I am both the geek, and the girl. Having been married 17 years I haven't dated lately. :) The question becomes does he love me for my brain, or my body? Trudy H

Agreed, I found this to be the most important factor in attracting women.

If you mean Geek as "smart", well yes, we get the girls. If you mean "goofy", no, we don't get the girls. In my computer engineering class there are so many geeks, and a few perform well with the ladies, however there is an awful lot of too goofy students (which is good, less competition against me) which don't stand a chance with the ladies. Got Brains and has some skill in conversation? You will score with beautiful and successful women. If you only got brains, but has only stupid kind of conversation, forget it. You won't score with the ladies. I've seen a lot in my party, professional and academic life. Nothing alone gets you going. So whoever is the "all-around" guy gets the best ladies, period.
