I figure you have two options... 1. There are over 50 000 CP members now, so a donation of about $1.50 from everyone oughtta cover the cost of that car (I hope) or... 2. I'll have no choice but to go on a bank robbing spree wearing a Codeproject t-shirt and matching ski mask. The convertible of the 206 is the 206cc and same for the 307, the 307cc (not out yet though.) The 206 is the smaller one of the two, but the styling is quite similar (though the 307 really fleshes, and improves, it out IMO.) I think the 306 was the predecessor to the 307 or 206, not sure, but still a lovely car. See them buzzing all over Cape Town, especially now during summer. Though ultimately I want a Peugeot 406 Coupe v6 3litre :-D For now though I am perfectly happy with my 1.3litre Toyota Tazz :) Perfect first time car.

I totally dig Peugeot, although people here aren't that into them, possibly because they were never denied them by sanctions. Still, the Tazz does rock - I can understand you wanting to hang onto it. I have yet to buy a new car out of the box. I have numerous VW Beetle true stories to tell my grandchildren one day however :laugh:

And I've seen Merc ML trying to cope with me off road - guy was also terified of rocks shooting from gravel road and bushes can really scratch your nice showoff car, dont they? I have Nissan Pathfinder 3.5 (base model-just with brushguard in front), which behaves reasonably well in the city and off road, and consumption is not bad for a such large engine. But Range Rover, ummm yummy, than H1, H2 (hummer) - I would rather buy range rover any time than X5. It doesnt look to cool, but it works were it should. SDK Maintenance Programmer

And a Nissan Pathfinder costs FAR less than some daft X5, ML or XC90. It will kick their collective behinds offroad. I kid you not when I say there are "car wash" services here in SA for putting mud ON to your car. i.e. Yuppies who want to be seen as having used their fancy X5s off road go to this car wash and they splash mud and grit onto the car to give it that "just offroaded" look. A stuck but good looking 4x4 is worth less than a not-stuck but lame looking 4x4. Anyway, I think the new Range Rover looks damned good as well, plus it rocks offroad.
