    have worked with VB, c#, sql server, asp.net ... all MS technologies... in Uni i've learned php, mysql, ML (functional lang), c++ ... online i read every day about ruby, python, open source, ajax, various APIs from google/amazon etc, agile development... ... so gotta ask... how is today's software made? is everyone using apple's object C or is it just me? ... ... you know what I mean... :confused:

        Not me. C# most of the time. I'm familiar with VB6 but play dum to avoid having to touch it. I dabble in c++, asp.net and javascript sometimes when the interest takes me, but I rarely have to use any of it at work. I like to play with mono at home, but it's just a subset of .net really, I wish MS would support it more fully.

          You mention a lot of obscure technologies. Wouldn't want to work with those. I use LINCII, the definitive programming platform. Here's a gem of what you can do with it :).

                    I thought Object C was the iPhone Ap stuff. That's not 5% of that market. Of the World market, iPhone is likely a lot less than 5% total. But in smart phone ap market I am thinking that they make a significant number.
