For those of you who get BBC America, the new Dr Who series premieres with you on April 19th.

BBC America irritates me. They used to show a wide variety of great shows, but now they mainly show lots of repeats of cash in the attic/clean your damn house (or whatever it's called), Gordon Ramsey and other restaurant/kitchen shows. Why is Top Gear and Being Human so delayed? At least Dr Who is more or less coincidental with its showing in the UK, but they never showed all of Ashes to Ashes, rarely show New Tricks and other shows. Our local PBS station plays more British comedies and dramas than BBC America. On top of that, there are dozens of fantastic shows they could be repeating. Why not Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister? Good Neighbors (The Good Life), Jonathan Creek, etc. Heck even old Dr. Who (especially the Tom Baker/Lala Ward episodes!)
