My wifey nearly always asks me when we walk by anything electronic "Do you need one of those? Are you sure you don't? If we can afford it, why don't you get one anyway?" It would take a long time to train another one like that! :)

The trick is that every time we walk by a dress/hat/shoe store I also ask the same thing. She rarely buys and neither do I, but we both respect the others wants. Works wonders!

My wife has gone out to play, (Gone shopping with her friend), and I just went to see if there was anything to snack on and found a bottle of chocolate milk in the fridge with a note on it saying "I bought this for you, X Michelle". She didn't tell me, just left it as a pleasant surprise. Isn't love wonderful. It is these little things that make life great! All you singletons out there, get married, life is good.

Nope, but my girlfriend does perfectly fit that formula. :-\ The XKCD I was thinking of had something to do with a guy aspiring to marry a woman who only wanted him for his money or something of that sort (because he couldn't imagine a woman actually wanting him for who he is).
