No more Lorem Ipsum for me.

Brilliant. We use Lorem Ipsum a lot. From here on in it's Hillbilly.

My favourite is the Postmodernism Generator here:- http://www.elsewhere.org/pomo/[^] Note - that is /pomo/ NOT /porno/ :-O  Although it is nonsense, it doesn't read that way. Just click for a new essay. :suss:
Ouch. That *is* nasty.
It's time for a new sig. Seriously.

A couple of weeks ago there was a brief discussion here in the lounge about this. I had remembered a 'Buzz Phrase Generator' that I had written years ago in Forth on my good old Jupiter Ace, so I took the time to knock up a quick C# version. It only took about 10 minutes to write and produces output like this:

Which I think is not at all bad for such a simple program. At least as good as the output from your link. Although I do agree that Lorem Ipsum does get boring.

I found the word 'eros' in the second paragraph it generated. Is this Latin text PC enough to be used for demo purposes?

Since this is Latin (not Greek) 'eros' doesn't mean what you think it does.

It does look better since there's an actual grammar of sorts to your text generator, whereas the Greek Machine seems to randomly spew any types of words with no syntactic structure. Someone made an academic paper generator which produces output a lot like yours, and even got some randomly-generated papers accepted at conferences (how embarrassing for the reviewers :sigh:).
