So I overslept again today! But only by 2 hours. I seem to have mastered the art of ignoring an alarm going off right next to my ear... Anyone have a nice annoying alarm tone/mp3 that I can use on my phone?

You may be silencing your phone and then suffering from sleep amnesia. Set your phone on outdoor mode and place it out of arms reach from the bed.

set the alarm and put far away from you in room so that when it's ringing, u need to wake and walk to stop it... :) don't use SNOOZE option it always forces u to :zzz: :zzz: :zzz:

It's very straightforward: Get an old-fashioned mechanical alarm clock with large bells on it. Set it each night, and put it in a resonant metal box. Lock the box. Drop the key into a deep jug of water full of ice cubes. Sleep. Reaching for the key through ice-cold water will make sure you don't go back to sleep. Simples!

I have that problem too. I have long give up phone alarm as the wake up call. I'm using the computer now to wake up. Boots up and starts playing Rammstein. It works. :)

There is your solution then! Set the phone to vibrate and attach it to the cat. His attempts to get away from it will wake you up. Possibly with a need for A&E, but you will be awake.

I have a Tivoli Moedl 3 radio/alarm box, when it's set to ring using a tone (instead of radio) it make an really loud annoying noise. other than that, you could play a interview with either Ann Coulter or Sarah Palin.

Watched code never compiles.

Nobody with a cat needs an alarm clock in the morning. Cats have accurate timers built in and usually patiently watch you sleep - until it's time to get up.

A while ago he asked me what he should have printed on my business cards. I said 'Wizard'. I read books which nobody else understand. Then I do something which nobody understands. After that the computer does something which nobody understands. When asked, I say things about the results which nobody understand. But everybody expects miracles from me on a regular basis. Looks to me like the classical definition of a wizard.

Put the phone in the bedside table drawer. the extra mental effort in opening the drawer will wake you up. or go to sleep earlier. The fact you overslept by a whole 2 hours means you had under budgetted.
