You think you got problems... I just had my Financial Director make what he thought was a trivial request. "Can you do something with the Cash Book Spreadsheet so that I can press a button and it takes all the payments for the last 7 days and copies them onto another sheet, and analyses them and totals them and can you do it for all the bank accounts across all the companies?" To which I say, "Yes" Because a) I can, and b) it is what he wants to hear. "Good", says he, "I have to go out to [A COMPANY FOR A MEETING] I will be back in a couple of hours, show me it then". ARRGGHHHH!!! What? 2 hours? Is he Mad?

Well when he comes back and it's not finished just say "I said yes because I wanted to take part in the joke - oh you were being serious???"

He took it all too far, but boy could he play guitar!

Nothing wrong with VB6 - it's keeping me in a contract at the moment - long live crappy systems written in VB6 :):):)

Same reason here! The problem is: I have started to program with C# but there are "important" projects written in VB6. I don't find a word how evil is this system, neither in english, nor in german. I only can say "My mental balance is suffering if i have to do something in this project".

It's for jobs like that that MS introduced the RAND() function to Excel.
