Funny bit was his aunt saying he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Considering he ordered it online and meant to take it anyway, I don't see how it mattered where he was or what time he was there at.

Ah, missed that point. I just thought about evolution! Since that guy didn't evolved the only option left was the caffeine => killer edition, buy now! :)

A party-goer died after swallowing two spoonfuls of internet-bought pure caffeine powder with the same strength as 70 cans of Red Bull, an inquest heard yesterday.[^] Seriously, what the hell was he thinking? :wtf:

Yes, but none of those are weird - I buy fragrances, electronic devices, electronic consumables, etc., online. But not pure caffeine powder! (leave alone "online", I'll never buy shit like that). :)

I cannot possibly kill myself with cans of redbulls or cups of tea. I can't think of how can I possibly use this caffeine powder. May be it has its uses, but not that I can think of putting it to use in my daily life. And a couple of spoons will put an end to my misery. :omg: Well, I think it's crap.

Lots and lots of them. It's my hobby, and I've developed a good olfactory sense with this hobby over the years. Tens of bottles have come and gone through the vault. Now there are many bottles (and a load of samples). The collection contains all kinds of stuff - designer, niche, and some mediocre stuff too. The prices could vary from $20 to $185 per bottle, based on the quality of the ingredients. There are some custom blends too. Online stores have a great variety and they give me discounts, loyalty bonuses, etc., for repeat purchases. I've had plenty of compliments from co-workers, friends, etc., on how good I smell. :)

Yes, but none of those are weird - I buy fragrances, electronic devices, electronic consumables, etc., online. But not pure caffeine powder! (leave alone "online", I'll never buy shit like that). :)

It's probably a good thing he didn't spot the bulk buy savings: Ebay: 1Kg of caffeine £27.99[^]

It did not matter. Two spoons would still have been enough.

Sure, you do. But a cup of coffee will have about 100 mg of caffeine (or may be less). I can't think of a reason to buy boxes of pure caffeine powder - AND - on the internet - AND - eat it. Weird, that.
