days to get married! whooohoooo this saturday will be the day... :jig: :badger: Apart from that... I must store the music we want to have during the celebration inside a cdrom... I'm afraid that having the songs from different sources they will be at different volumes... What could I use in order to make the volumes to be adjusted and more or less equal? Thank you in advance!

Congrats!!! Welcome to the League!!! Most CD burners have an option to "normalize" volume levels of audio files that are being written. What tool do you use?

And if you have the option, normalize the peaks, not the RMS. That way, the songs that are supposed to be quiet-ish won't sound like they're being performed by a marching band.

Check the options in the software you're using to burn the mix - many have some sort of volume normalization feature built in (even if it's hidden away in an Options page somewhere). Alternately if you're burning MP3s, use MP3Gain[^] to analyze and normalize the set before burning them. Oh, and congratulations!

There is only one volume, 11.
