Not .net-related and not in the first week of September, but much more interesting: Female Bachelor party Strippers![^] (Migh be NSFW, though there are no pics). And probably way more interesting than the US Open... :) I found this under conferences on eventful.com

US open is taking place at that time. if there's a conference or something i can get work to send me .....
I'd rather be at the conference, never enjoyed being a spectator of tennis.
