I might try it in a virtual, but if that doesn't work, I may just image my main box and try it on there.

I will probably create a vhd and use the boot from vhd feature in Windows 7. But I am not sure I will get time for that. Ironically I am busy with an iPad project :).

Ah yeah, that'll work. Installation will be slow but the boot will be much faster than in tbe VM. I may try this too.

Seeing as our office OS is just now struggling into Weven I don't see any urgency to get into W8. As for fiddling with it at home, too many other things take up my time so nope...

OK, creating the VHD from a VM may not work. They are giving out the 64 bit version (for the dev tools). The 32 bit version does not include dev tools.

There's a tool that takes the .wim file in the .iso and converts it to a .vhd
