    Why Google is investing in the DART if HTML5 solves the problem of platforms? Webapps more efficient? Would not it be better to invest more in HTML5, improving javascript?

        A lot of times big companies that have a lot invested in a specific technology will become frustrated with the pace of standards (see how long it has taken for HTML5 to come around) and/or their inability to sway the standards committee to agree with their suggestions. The result, multiple competing standards... :sigh:

                  I've just seen that Steve Jobs is to be cremated. So that'll be a job well done.
