Why DART?

Why Google is investing in the DART if HTML5 solves the problem of platforms? Webapps more efficient? Would not it be better to invest more in HTML5, improving javascript?

A lot of times big companies that have a lot invested in a specific technology will become frustrated with the pace of standards (see how long it has taken for HTML5 to come around) and/or their inability to sway the standards committee to agree with their suggestions. The result, multiple competing standards... :sigh:

And also Michael Jackson and Steve Jobs.
And from the clouds a mighty voice spoke:
"Smile and be happy, for it could come worse!"And I smiled and was happy
And it came worse. -
I've just seen that Steve Jobs is to be cremated. So that'll be a job well done.

Cremated sounds more like overdone to me. Being cremated should not be confused with getting creamed, which in this context ... X| Cheers!

To be fair, if the original article had included "Dart" in the title, he may have noticed. Do you expect someone to read every post in the lounge to check for reposts? Seriously?
