    Nah, that's wrong! Programming : 1. 5% concept design. 2a. 10% writing smart codes. 2b. 20% writing slave codes. 3. 65% debugging.

Oxfords English < Official CCC Players Dictionary Excuse me for my improper grammar and typos. It's because English is my primary language, not my first language. My first languages are C# and Java. VB, ASP, JS, PHP and SQL are my second language. Indonesian came as my third language. My fourth language? I'm still creating it, I'll let you know when it's done! :-D

Try TDD. That changes those figures around a lot.

Well, I'm glad you found that funny. Can't say it tickled my funny-bone. If you think programming is the opposite to debugging then you are a pies-poor programmer.

      That's OK, I'd rather be tau-rich.

A *very* old one, via Wikiquote: If debugging is the process of removing bugs, then programming must be the process of putting them in. Edsger W. Dijkstra [citation needed] This was old when Dijkstra quoted himself at a summer school I attended in 1983. Cheers, Peter

I am not sure about that. I thought of this while fixing some bugs on my code today. All the bugs debugging myself are the once I put few days back, before release to QA.

TDD... 80% Building tests and debugging them.

You debug yourself? Are you an android sent from the future to kill John Connor?

I really hope you dont write code with this thought in mind. Then again, I hope you do, its good for killing offshoring.

Why did you said that, European never debug? Could be, we have to do that with silly codes.

No, No, and thrice No. All programs are bug free when released from development. 'Bugging' or the insertion of bugs is done by testers to make programmers lives miserable.

Nah, programming is just debugging a blank source file.
