No. It allows for a warp in Space/Time, but not a warp bubble. Once the bubble was established it would cease to exist with our universe of space/time.

And become part of it again once it bursts?

Then Star Trek V must be the metric unit for badness. The American unit definitely is named after George Lucas.

And from the clouds a mighty voice spoke:
"Smile and be happy, for it could come worse!"

And I smiled and was happy
      And it came worse.

In what way is it not ST? You've got Worf and O'Brien transferred from the Enterprise, the Federation, Klingons, Cardassians, Romulans etc.

in the way that it was awful. Pedestrian, hackneyed, sterile and soulless. Shallow characters, dull enemies and pointless plots. DS9 should be deleted from the ST canon.

Fair point although it was long time ago and a galaxy far, far away...

Neither of them are science fiction. They both require FTL travel, which is impossible, therefore rendering them both within the confines of Fantasy.

People said the same thing before, about the earth being round.

It's still controversial. There's a lot of room for mistake in this case. In any case, to me "not yet" is just as good of an answer to something deemed impossible.

No brainer for me! Star Wars all the way baby! :D I don't dislike Star Trek, but it never quite got my attention like Star Wars did when I was a kid :)

Also, the Alternative Universe in DS9 is the same AU that Kirk went to in TOS. Their history is badly affected by the influence that Kirk had on their culture whilst he was there. My favourite ST series was 'Enterprise' - shame it was cancelled before the plot lines could be developed. :-O

I fail to comprehend your indignation, sir. I've simply made the logical deduction that you are a liar.

Yeah, took me a while to get into 'Enterprise' cause it didn't have all the cool technology, but I was really enjoying it be the time it ended.
