Sony has actually become quite good at shooting themselves in the foot, with all the holes in their feet they’re bound send the bullets through one of the previous holes without further injury. Not exactly a good business model for sure, as I am no longer a purchaser of Sony products, but as it is said “There’s a sucker born every minute”

It does sound like an England-Only event. In which case I would be mistaken blaming the US Side of Sony, assuming that they have a UK localized Sony Music Entertainment. All in all doubtful, in my mind at least, that this can go back to the Japanese side of Sony Electronics. That connection is what drew my initial response.

Don't listen to your customers if the complaints are less than 10% of your user base. 3. Pay bonuses to your salespeople and executives while continuing to give your engineers unrealistic goals. 4. Watch your user base diminish. 5. Watch your best engineers leave. 6. Watch your revenues drop. 7. Watch your profits drop. 8. Soak your remaining loyal user base. 9. Complain about unfair competition. 10. Die (or become irrelevant).
