I was thinking about Newman in Jurassic Park and his awesome "ah, ah, ah!" when they entered the wrong password, and then the "I'm a Mac" dude in that movie where he used a Nokia to do everything up to, and possibly including, piloting a space shuttle or something (OK, I may have fallen asleep in that one). What would you say are the best movie depictions of a software developer?

        my thoughts as well

It used to be what you know that got you ahead, then it was who you know, now its what you know about who you know that gets you ahead. Be careful which toes you step on today, they might be connected to the foot that kicks your butt tomorrow. You can't scare me, I have children.

I don't remember that movie very well, but I remember that when I saw it I felt it was the worst movie I had ever seen. Though, Darren Aronofski more than made up for it with The Fountain, which is one of my top 10 favorite movies.

I don't remember that movie very well, but I remember that when I saw it I felt it was the worst movie I had ever seen. Though, Darren Aronofski more than made up for it with The Fountain, which is one of my top 10 favorite movies.

                                        Thou mewling ill-breeding pignut!

Well your standards should be high, in my opinion (the movie is sketchy and 'experimental', but far better than the average 'sweetened mainstream movie'). I didn't watch "The Fountain" (discorauged by a review, if I remember well. However, I liked "Requiem for a dream").

                                        Veni, vidi, vici.

Wow, I missed that (probably Italy missed it).
