21 Years Ago Today...

It's the first few minutes of Friday morning here in the best part of the world. ...my Mother died of Melanoma at the age of 40. With my little Sister dying of the same thing 7 years 8 months later at 28 I'm not a happy boy. So after work tomorrow and the drive back home from Canberra I'm going to smash a large chunk of Bundy Rum and whatever top shelf beer I buy. Elephanting sunshine of a life, I expect to post something angry and drunk in 18 to 20 hours from now.

Sorry about that Mike. I'll remember ya when I get hold of my mug this weekend.

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is never an easy elephanting task, Michael. :( At least, they are living in your memories, and that's a honour you're doing them, and it proves how much you love them. I can elephanting appreciate you for that. May life bring peace to you. :rose:

Sorry to hear that, man! Sounds like you really miss them. That's gotta blow. My sincere condolences! My dad drank himself to death about 18 years ago (he was found on the bathroom floor in a puddle of puked-up blood). Even though we were the exact opposite of close, I was sad to see him go in such a manner. So, careful with the drink! OT: "Elephanting" -- what's that mean in this context?
