I was on a previous assignment for eight months before realizing I was about two hundred feet from another member. On my current assignment, I hung my 2010 MVP certificate in my cubicle and one person (my supervisor) pointed at it and gave me a thumbs up. :thumbsup:

CodeProjectas useful source of programming info. I said enthusiastically: "Oh, yes, I know it. I've written a couple of articles". He didn't mention CP again, I don't know why.Veni, vidi, vici.

No, but I did introduce a colleague to the CodeProject. He is a bit of a electronics hack and is always busy fettling. When the CodeProject was running the Hardware competition I suggested he writes an article and submit it. Off he went, joined the Codeproject, wrote the article, submitted it and won the 1st Place prize of a robotics kit. Which he kindly gave to me for the kids. He won with this article; Radio Control Transmitter - Joystick[^]

I haven't switched jobs, so the answer is NO. However, a few years ago I mentioned something to my son and found out he is a member here and has posted an article. The grandkids make sure we rarely talk about work when we get together.

If you had told him how you found code snippets there that you were able to use in your peoject, you would have had a great conversation going with him! :laugh:
