                    Yes I do, and a Tele and a Strat. (Not at the same time, of course :) ) I understand you play guitar as well.

                      Nice! :thumbsup: I've been dreaming of returning to playing more (and recording) and getting a Variax and Boss BR1600 to put down tracks (vs. using Audacity and a humble laptop), but find coding continues to take up virtually all my spare time (by choice). :)  Since you already own several classic guitars, I expect you wouldn't even consider a Variax, but I was wondering if you had an opinion? Thanks, /ravi

                        Can I break into this discussion to suggest an IK Multimedia Stealthpedal? I have one and it's definitely an option worth looking into. The built-in recorder in Amplitube isn't anything to write home about, but the sound and custom shop pay-for-what-you-want model is great.

                          If I found a Variax for a good price, I would definitely get one. I like the idea of getting the various tones from the same guitar. As long as it plays decent. I use a Line6 UX2 for an input interface for recording my own tunes. Solid drivers, decent sound lots of options without being overly complicated. Line6 puts out some great products. Song recorded using UX2 for guitars and bass[^] [edit: link to correct song}
