Some words, if you ignore their actual definitions, are prime candidates to be given a new definition. One that comes to mind is "revamp", which I'd define as...

    Revamp:

To make an ex-vampire into a vampire.

Of course you'd need to devamp a vampire first, which is just silly. Are there any words you've come across that'd lend themselves well to a hypothetical definition?

Surely a _rev_amp does the opposite of an amplifier?

According to daybreakers this isn't possible.

To make an ex-vampire into a vampire.

Of course you'd need to devamp a vampire first, which is just silly. Are there any words you've come across that'd lend themselves well to a hypothetical definition?

                                          Thou mewling ill-breeding pignut!

vamp (vmp) Informal n. A woman who uses her sex appeal to entrap and exploit men. v. vamped, vamp·ing, vamps v.tr. To seduce or exploit (someone) in the manner of a vamp. I'm thinking some guys can be revamped over and over again, so long as it feels good. :-D

                                          Will Rogers never met me.
