I´m a SouthAmerica Programmer, and I consider that am a junior, semi-pro programmer in languages like PHP, Java and VS c# 2008 - 2010 principally. My escencial work is Design DataBase, code 3 - tier projects, Windows form, php forms, Aspx web forms, and I have a few of question for other programmer who writes code in the other side of the world. 1. what is the price (average) per hour do you perceive por a little project? (example, design a database, design css, logos etc, a[]nd program a webform page/ winform for a Gym) 2. in What parameters do you base to charge that? 3. would you work a big project in another country? what do you ask for earn?

It depends on various factors. Technology, the size of the company, project etc and the most important thing is to learn the money value of the country you wish to work with. If you are a C# or Java Programmer , you would earn more money than PHP programmer. Generally there is no per hour rates even if it's a contract job in a company. Unless you are working as freelancer then the case would be different , you will have to price on hourly basis or fixed price per project. An average junior programmer would earn 50-60K Ruprees which comes to 1000$ per month max as a permanent or contract fulltime work assuming 1$ = 54 Rupees Now here's the answer to your questions 1. It's difficult to tell exactly how much per hour, the reason it depends on the complexity of the project and usually peoples will go with the cost per project rather than cost per hour. An average little project say a simple web design will go from 10-20 thousand Rupees. Bigger companies charge higher so there is a compitition and bidding goes in case of Government projects. 2. The paramters would be same , the size , effort, the country with which you are working. The reason is atlast you have to estimate the cost based on their money value. 3. Yes ofcourse everyone wish to work in bigger projects. If one gets an oppurtunity to work in other country , the first thing to do is to learn their money value and estimate the cost according to that. Coming to money value , why it's important. Say for example you wish to bill 10000$ for a simple project , then it would cost 5,40,000 Rupees in India which is really a big or huge amount which one may not look forward. This is based on my knowledge ,still various other factors may go while working in other countries.
