Did not load on Firefox. In case they need a redesign, I'd be glad to do it for only 1/4 of the monex they have already spent.

Our website www.italia.it[^] (now it has been changed) took the same amount of time (3 years 2004-2007) but since "Italians do it better" we paid 45.000.000 € (yes, fortyfivemillionsofeuro). There must be some fraud or corruption charges that can be applied in a case like that. It's actually a decent-ish outcome, but no way is the real cost anywhere near that – it's been inflated by maybe 3 orders of magnitude (definitely at least 2).

"Tutto il mondo e' paese" Proverb that should translate "It's the same the whole world over". If it consoles you italia.it cost 58'100'000 of Euros (for now). (http://www.repubblica.it/2007/02/sezioni/scienza_e_tecnologia/portale-italia-polemiche/portale-italia-polemiche/portale-italia-polemiche.html[^], http://millionportalbay.wordpress.com/2007/09/24/italiait-ma-quanto-ci-costi-davvero/[^]) What a waste of public money! The best thing is that it seems that no one is responsible about the failure of this project... And if I do not pay 15 cents to the government the will persecute me...

“The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser men so full of doubts.”

An uprising should have had a better result than a redo.

Realistically, yeah, I see sites like that go for about $10k-$100k. Depends on how much content had to be created be the company that built it.
