Welcome sir, to the Campaign of Realists for Abortion Postnatal! We believe that the legal age of abortion should be raised to 873 weeks after conception, so you get a good idea what they will be like before you commit yourself. :-D

I know how culturally sensitive you are so it might be just worth leaving this here[^], as that has a very different connotation in the UK.
“Education is not the piling on of learning, information, data, facts, skills, or abilities - that's training or instruction - but is rather making visible what is hidden as a seed”

You've misunderstood my purpose. The post was directed at UKians (note the difference in use between the UK and Australia) didn't want MM to get down votes/abuse reports for a word that isn't considered that bad where he is from. It'd be like downvoting a Merkin for using the term fanny-pack. Every UKian just let out a titter at the phrase fanny-pack. And again.

To be fair, at 16 years in the commitment has been made. It's time to start examining the parents at that point.
I dunno - have you seen teenage boys?

I wasn't attacking you. I was just making a joke. You provided an education link which was an excellent response. For my part, I never have understood the whole racism thing. I'll grant you I've hated people for ridiculous reasons but hating someone based on skin color is an utter mystery to me. Because of that I've a tendency to see racial differences as entertaining and fun. The nicknames for certain racial groups crack me up and I only wish there were some really good ones for white people - I've yet to hear one that is even mildly offensive - it's just so unfair. At some point people have to realize that what someone says reveals more about the speaker than the object of the insult. <-- once you realize that, all insults become a window into what is really going on. Regarding race, the thing I understand the least is the supposed slam against black people and eating chicken. I never liked chicken until I lived in the south for a few years - my favorite meal to this day is some Cajun fried chicken with biscuits and some dirty rice. I'd take that over a steak, over lobster, over just about anything. So insults based on liking really good food - totally lost on me.

My 16 year old son just called out for me to come and kill a cockroach for him. I told him to faarrrkkkk off so his Mum went it did it for him. What a Big Girls Blouse. It's another 18 months till he finishes school and he's ~170cm tall and 76kg in weight. When I finished high school I was 188cm tall and only 66kg in weight. He should be bench pressing trucks by comparison. Faarrrkkkking Gen Y, useless as tits on a bull.

Take it easy. It's not just your boy. Times have changed, it's now the era of the recreants and milquetoasts. All we can do is watch the last of men as they were originally designed fade away (or burn down if they'll "have the balls"). Have a solid drink to ease the effect.
Never underestimate the difference you can make in the lives of others.

I have two teenage daughters. My property is infested with teenage boys. In fact, in my opinion, if you want lots of sons just have a couple of daughters.
You know what they say: "If you've got one of those, you can have as many of them as you want."

See what I mean about the campaign now? If it was legal to abort them yourself...ahhhhh! It could be thought of as Pest Control!

Cripes I was in Scotty-land a few years back ... and a friend of mine at work wears a kilt on occasion ... mostly because he is a jackass American who fancies himself pure Irish and plays the bodhrán .... he is tons of fun to be around ... but anywho while I was in Edinburgh I stopped in a tourist shop thinking it would be fun to get him a cheap sporran (I know what it's called now). At the time I didn't know the correct term so I went up to the counter and asked the "wee lassie" if they had any cheap fanny-packs! My English and Irish buddies were forcibly removed from the shop for pissing themselves!

Shoulda given him one of these... Clickety[^]

Yep. And it is a shame that we can't beat the shit outta them, just because anyone who can't kill a cokroach theirself (and is below 12 years old) is a shame and should be jailed in a room full of cokroaches. *Note: I am 19, so I am probably allowed to say that :^) .

Took the boy (10 years old) out fishing this weekend, a bug flew by and the boy let out a scream like his mom would have done, I hung my head in shame.
Was it at least a big, scary bug? :-\
