He doesn't come across as unbiased... That is true. He did seem a like one of those people that sits on the fringe... I get more perspective from here at CP about what, er, more normal people think of the political situation here. Still, it's good to hear viewpoints from the edge of politics.. still, haven't read anything from the other republican fringe...yet anyroads. Presidents really don't have much free time to themselves. Even their vacations are usually filled with work. There are also a very limited number of camera ops. You have speeches, bill signings (for show), helicopter pad shots, and shots from Camp David or their normal residence. (FYI: you might be seeing shots from Camp David and thinking they are the ranch. He does like to go to his ranch a lot. But it isn't practical to go there on a regular basis. Camp David has long been a second residence for the president to get away from Washington for a weekend.) As far as office hours go, I doubt there is such a thing. As far as flaming goes, nah. Presidential vacations have long been a source for "see, he doesn't care about the country" type political fodder. It is mostly ignored these days. :) Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. Especially when its a 24 hour job. You can't fault the guy for wanting to take a "couple of days off" and spend them at his home. But you're right, even when he's there he is having foreign officials visit him and doing regular "guy" stuff. "Honey, the trees need trimming" :)

Can I ask why? From an outsider point of view he seems to have done a lot more for the us that any other president of recent times.... especially on the economic side of things... The problem is Bill didn't do anything during his presidency. The recovery started prior to his presidency and the current recession started during his presidency. The bulk of the economic growth started when the republicans took both houses back. But they really didn't do much either. It was more psychological than anything else. Then you had the huge internet boom than *snicker* Gore invented. Lots of things went right for Clinton. He did a lot of talking, but never really did anything. He would always talk about all these new great proposals and never do them. He helped to get Khato going but never really intended on passing it. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought.
