Come on Eric, you know as well as I do that people hate keeping things in perspective. The People have decided that Mandela is a Pretty Cool Guy - you can't just start disagreeing, especially not if you cite facts. Facts are stupid.
I find citing facts and citing Wikipedia are two completely different things. They may occasionally be the same but they don't have to. ;) I don't consider Wikipedia to be a proof for anything :)

I am on their side actually. It was just the Englich Civil War part 2, fighting against a king trying to impose unjust taxation. In fact many at the time were also on their side, many British Officiers refused to take part in any attempt to control the rebellion.

Of course aparthied was wrong, but it wasnt unique to SA, the US also had it, and it was also fought against, but passively. And thats the difference. King was a hero, Mandella a terrorist.
