As if my forgotten anniversary woes weren't enough, I put the electric toothbrush in to charge yesterday morning. Come nighttime Princess takes it out to use it and it's as flat as when I put it in for charging. We checked the switch was on and then she noticed the characteristic teeth marks on the charger cord. For the second time, one of our cats got bored and chewed on the cable and the charger is now stuffed. Thanks a lot cat. That's £23 to replace it. It's coming out of your pocker money.

If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

There are ways to fix that, scratching post, ipad on the floor, dangly thing for them to chase, frying pan if all else fails.

I meant "pocket" but interestingly, a quick google on "pocker" reveals it as a nickname for the devil. :-D Where's that cat? It needs exorcising; it's also a black cat which sort of confirms it.

It always can be worse. For example i have a really charming little kitty which decides that i have to get up each morning at 4 am and play with him because he is already full of energy and he wants to play. If i don't he sits on me and he isn't so light anymore.

Cat? Usually it's RATS that chew cables, a classic sign. Make doubly sure you don't have any of those horrors about. I speak as a confirmed Catophile however. (I even have a white one for Blofeld videos on You Tube) :-D

We have two such "alarm clocks". Ours jump on the bed about 5am demanding their treats. We keep a packet of Dreamies in the drawer and like Pavlov's dogs, they're conditioned to getting them at 10pm and then at 5am.

Guilty as charged. :-D In 2007 we were in the Boston area and we stayed at a B&B in Salem. I'm not saying they have vampires there but down the road from the B&B was a dentist's practice and the name of the dentist (I kid not) was Dr. Fang.

Guilty as charged. :-D In 2007 we were in the Boston area and we stayed at a B&B in Salem. I'm not saying they have vampires there but down the road from the B&B was a dentist's practice and the name of the dentist (I kid not) was Dr. Fang.

If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

You would have to have a lot of neck to visit him! ;)
