Thank you, Daniel, for your empathy & sympathy in this tragic matter affecting my extended family.

:rose: I don't think he deserved to die, whether he was texting or not doesn't matter. Whether texting in a movie theater is appropriate or not shall be discussed in a different thread, without the tragedic background we are facing here.

Actually he retired from the Tampa police which do not have a reputation for excessive violence. Me thinks Mr. Spudster may be playing games.

During a robbery, one of the robbers' mask slid down.  He looked at a man and asked, "Did you see my face?" The man said "Yes!".  So the robber shot him dead. Then he asked a woman, "Did you see my face?"  She said, "No, but my husband over there did." /ravi

My bad, Mr. Mulliken. I had reviewed to other instances similar in nature during the early hours this morning and did misconnect the info from those. And, Sir, the death of my 2nd Cousin is no game at all.

I'm always skeptical when anonymous internet denizens claim personal connections to random news events posted by others. On the chance that you're being 100% sincere: :rose: I provided a link to a news story that I was reminded of by Ravi's post. No apology for that. I agree my later comment about a lack of sympathy was indeed flippant. I'm sorry it bothered you.

Well she's not married any more, so she's probably available if you're interested...

Also, you don't have to worry about her taking half of everything if she wants to "get rid of you". :)

Tampa police. Figures. They have a reputation for being uptight and outasight. ;)
