A friend of mine told me a similar story about her son's girlfriend (a young lady from the UK) that was treated in much the same way on her return from a visit with her parents about a month ago. As far as I know, she is still in the UK trying to get back - she has (or had) a job, apartment and automobile all here. Very sad :(( Steve

I mean, if making a simple, honest mistake in the attempt to make some small, humble effort at defending our borders is enough to set the guy off, one cannot help but wonder how he feels about anything American.
