Are these missiles Scud or Al-Samud-2? I would wait for several days to have a more reliable answer, I don't trust the media on the Opening Day. Scuds are these missiles derived from the German V2 of 1944, right?

I'm more interested in why nobody is helping the Iraqi's, a fellow UN member, defend themselves from the imperialist dogs who are so wrongly attacking them. I read an article (in the washington post?) reporting saudis crossed the frontier to fight the US. It wasn't confirmed by saudis authorities.

The only reason inspections were even started again, after a 4 year lapse, was because the US aimed a gun at SH head. Blix even said yesterday that the cooperation wasn't there from SH. War sucks, but I would rather have it there than to wait til they were to attack us or our allies. GWB invaded. this highlights the fact that this war isn't just about WMDs, or UN resolutions; it's also about something entirely different: 'regime change'. IMO, that's a business we have no business being in. but, as i said to brianwelsch: whatever. you got your fucking war. enjoy it while you can. -c
