Be patient, wait for a reliable info first. I don't think it's a good strategy to believe news networks when the country wages a war

I have no doubt that the info is sketchy at best, I just wanna know how a group of people that was supposedly disarming for 12 years can shoot a missle into another country (still). Uptight Ex-Military Republican married to a Commie Lib - How weird is that?

I'm more interested in why nobody is helping the Iraqi's, a fellow UN member, defend themselves from the imperialist dogs who are so wrongly attacking them. The only reason inspections were even started again, after a 4 year lapse, was because the US aimed a gun at SH head. Blix even said yesterday that the cooperation wasn't there from SH. War sucks, but I would rather have it there than to wait til they were to attack us or our allies. Uptight Ex-Military Republican married to a Commie Lib - How weird is that?

The peaceniks are good at griping, if they were good at action SH would have disarmed 12 years ago. The UN is a joke, Sh has been laughing at it for years, but you don't hear the peaceniks complaining about that. Uptight Ex-Military Republican married to a Commie Lib - How weird is that?

He had 4 months to produce clear and serious results that he was completely disarming. Instead he went about it in a piecemeal sort of way that was not at all serious or clear. Nobody wants war and I really don't appreciate it when you talk like that about those of us who support this. I sincerely prayed before this war started that it could be avoided, but it was not.

I agree that war sucks, but I also believe that SH is a real threat to the US. I don't believe in waiting until we are kicked in the teeth, when you see someone who is a true threat you need to stop him. I don't enjoy war, I don't think its amusing, I have a pretty personal perspective about what it really means. The question is, will the world be a better place when the man is gone, and will it be worth the cost. In my opinion it will be better, and it is. Threaten to stop export of French Fries!!! Something!!! ;P Seriously. What did they do other than say "we're going to veto any new resolution proposing military action" ? And stick with the questionable progress of inspections. That's not why we disagree with the US government that we have to threat or punish the US citizens! We aren't so childish! ;) BTW, we don't export fries. TBelgium does :)

My point is that if the UN takes itself seriously, and the majority of the Security Council seriously objects to US invasion of Iraq, then why are they sitting around with their collective thumbs up their asses? My God, stand up for your precious UN, men! Deny the evil Americans! Put some muscle behind your words! I'm sure there are some economic measure they could take as well. But I am not in the position to grab them by their neck and tell them to "Settle the fuck down". But then again, had I been in that "inner circle", I would probably have had more information than I currently have. So maybe, I could have been applauding Bush and Blair right now instead of barking at them. With the information I have right now, I can only say I'm doubtful if this war is the right thing.
