Silly and expensive things, like RC submarines. When they do what they are supposed to, you don't see very much. As a bonus you get a free round of diving anytime that thing does not come up again. Flying models also cost a few bucks, but at least they don't stay up in the air when something goes wrong. Instead, they usually are smashed to stamp sized fragments. How about something that can't sink or crash. Something that is not so fast and even survives falling off a cliff. Something like a model tank, like this one?[^] Edit: Come on, take a look at that picture of a German Tiger :-)

Model rockets! Nah. Already done that, scale 1:1. Fastest things I will ever get to control. Edit: Take a look at the picture of the Tiger I put into the first post. :-)

All forms of modelling overlap in some areas. From the railroad modellers you can learn a lot about scratch building, detailing and how to model rivets. A single rivet may not be so much work, but usually you need hundreds, even thousands of them. I'm now working on the body of a Bell UH-1E[^], a Vietnam Huey. I'm almost done placing the many service panels and covers, now I must make the rivets. And yes, it's going to fly.

I spent a lot of time, when much younger, building stuff. Lego is great. :-)

        That looks very realistic. :-)

I remembered it! And Dilbert has a search facility, so a quick search: "Airspace": Search Results for Airspace | Dilbert by Scott Adams[^] - nothing. "Missiles": Search Results for Missiles | Dilbert by Scott Adams[^] - Second strip. Done. It's not perfect - I haven't found a term that will get me "the databits are flexed through the collectimizer" - but it's pretty good.

The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a fucking golf cart.
"I don't know, extraterrestrial?" "You mean like from space?" "No, from Canada." If software development were a circus, we would all be the clowns.

All I can say is, Western Warship Combat Club. That's why I'm building my RC Submarine, SS Gato (SS212)
