No, they shot the BEARS. :)

What's the point in shooting a dead chicken?

You can never have too much ammo - unless you're swimming, or on fire. - JSOP, 2010

When you pry the gun from my cold dead hands, be careful - the barrel will be very hot. - JSOP, 2013They shot the bears John.

Better for Europeans, maybe. Or people that wish they were European.

I know. It was a joke. It's something Europeans do.

I know, but the way your sentence was constructed, it could have been the chickens, so I jumped at the opportunity to be a smart-ass. :)

You havent seen the south of france.... (I was on my way to Marseille airport and two rival gangs had a shoot out on the motorway, in cars, with AK 47s. It was a mess.)
And you haven'the seen Chicago, which has simultaneously extremely restrictive gun laws and regular gang shootouts.
Ad astra - both ways!

Why just US citizens? Would you deny a gun like this to Europeans? Could they not handle one?
Everyone is born right handed. Only the strongest overcome it. Fight for left-handed rights and hand equality.
First, the EU commission will try to ban it, because the producer has a monopoly. Then the manual has to be translated umpteen times. The Catalonians would be "dangerously armed" suddenly, able to cause great eye-injuries to our soldiers! With the current cost of healthcare in the EU we would go broke. Then there'll be discussions on how to prohibit 3D-printers, because people can print the materials to build their own guns. On the other hand, our soldiers currently practice by yelling "peng"; so it might be kind of exciting for them to handle some real ammo :-\
