There is now a putt-putt golf course running through the forest of cubes here. My cube now sits on the end of the 6th hole. :sigh: Why must they do this shit whilst I have a production problem to fix?

I think you're right. A little birdie told me.

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

That was some poor neighborhood planning. Usually, the houses are beside the golf course.

Does that make it a green house?

Consider yourself lucky it isn't on a shooting range... Although getting a visit from JSOP could be fun :-)

Production problems are a "drop everything and fix it now" kind of thing. People can't do their primary jobs, systems down ... Other problems, like a piece of software won't install on a machine, can wait.

With 40 years of development experience and 25 in server side development I know what the term means. When I work, I work. So if someone was winging golf balls into my cube every couple of minutes the nature of the work would not matter.
