Hate to tell you but Wikipedia is not that authoritative, and tends to stay with the party line. If you really investigate Christopher Columbus, you will discover that there is a lot that rings true on the Jewish origin. Obviously it is not a story that Western cultures would be happy about for the last half a millennium, so not surprising that it would be covered up. You can lead a human to knowledge, but you can't make him think. Listen to the YouTube video I posted, maybe you will learn something that is lied about in your high school history book. You do know that history books are not written by professors of history. In fact if an academic wrote a history book it would be frowned upon by the academic community. The publishing companies make lots of money selling their books, and it is mostly to states that have state level review of acceptable books for their school system. If a high school history book mentioned that Christopher Columbus was Jewish, it would be immediately thrown out. It is amazing to see the untruths that have been passed from one high school history book to another. Always like the picture of what Native Americans looked before Columbus and we see Western American Indians of horses...LOL. You will also discover there is no picture of the man from his time. He was extremely secretive...I wonder why, could it have been because he was trying to hide he was Jewish from the Spanish Inquisition.

I'm well aware of the idea by Simon Wiesenthal. And while it has merits, it's completely unconfirmed. Obviously since Columbus was so secretive. :rolleyes: But everything in your OP except the first sentence is just empty claims that we are lied to. So, conspirational bullshit. Pretty much everything about CC is unconfirmed except some broad brush statements about him discovering America. Little is truly known about the man. However, 1) the letters to his sons containing the Hebrew letters must be real 2) it cannot be proved that he spoke Italian well 3) the contents of his will being within the rules for Jews has to be real. Interesting that considering that there has always been controversy over his being Italian, that you are now asking for proof. Give concrete proof he was Italian.

I read a very interesting book on the battle of Medway[^] that was written by an English historian. The most interesting part was when he listed all the things that had to be done badly by the English for the raid to succeed. Apparently the dutch had good spies.

That is not true in my case. I think that Israel is a horrible country that is more like Nazi Germany that any other country in the world today. I will also admit that the Jews do something that makes people hate them, and in that respect they are very stupid. Otherwise why thru so much of recent history have they been so hated. It is also very sad that the Jews have turned against the Muslims, who treated them very well in the past, and Judaism did very well under the Muslims. If not for the horrible Zionist Jews that so ardently defend Israel, the murder of so many innocent Arabs, there would not be the hate between them. In another respect they tend to be very capable people, that are responsible for so much more in this country than their numbers would justify. You will believe what you want. A saying I like about people like you is that you can lead a human to knowledge but you can't make him think. I see to many people who want to believe the obvious lies that we are told. In school, unfortunately, they teach of to recite what they want us to believe, but they do not teach us how to use our brains for anything besides recitation. The Politicians want sheep, not free thinkers. Harder to guide people who will analyze the situation and come to their own conclusion.
