Sound of the Week

Yui Sakakibara - Toki tsukasadoru Juuni no Meiyaku[^] The SOTW is back from a few weeks of vacation! :D This week we have something completely different... It's the ending theme to an anime I'm currently watching, Steins;Gate. The anime itself didn't quite catch me at first, but was still interesting enough to watch. Almost at the ending now and it's pretty awesome. What DID catch me from the first episode was the outro music. So here it is, enjoy :D

Interesting track … :-), in some places quite complex... And I wanted to add this remarkable track from HFTS, which I recently discovered: [Harakiri For The Sky - Manifesto - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MekfoCdYQdQ) BR,

Hi, Sander. I always try to keep track of your SOTWs; you showed me some gems (i think i learned from you that there´s a band named CHVRCHES...before they made "landfall" in Germany and became known to the public and quite popular) this is very japan-style and i find it a little bit stressful but this is just a matter of taste... i found something what i am considering a very cool liveset from System 7 and - regarding the names - it seems to me that there´s also a "taste of japan" in it... System 7 is - at least for me - well-knowned for it´s Progressive/Goa, so IMHO this is a gem, too... System 7 - Hinotori (Official Video)[^] *played with REAL instruments!!! in terms of Goa, here´s the version in "technoid" ;-) System 7 - Hinotori[^] A nice Weekend for all of you  ;) EDIT: -TYPO fixed *-essential Info added

That could be possible, but if you got it from me that's a long time ago. Haven't listened to them in ages. Very cool band though

Very cool song, this is the other reason I started this thread  It reminded me of sgt.[^], another (quite chaotic) Japanese band.

I agree... I cant's stop coming back to it :-) but until recently I didn't know about them. They strike great balance between atmospheric metal and MDM, and this track comes from their 2018 album it seems … (I even ordered the CD … :-) which I do not do often …), BR

That YouTube user has lots of interesting and good stuff. That was among the best I heard, but I did not make it through everything.
