Much of what was in the BBC article was already known. In the first few days after the event, the story was constantly changing because the media was reporting on things they knew very little about. The big problem is that the media thinks they know more than they really do. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

Normally the links you give from the timesofindia seem biased, but this time I'm inclined to believe the whole thing was a setup. I'm sure this kind of activity is far more common than we the common public believe. We are constantly being duped. Regardz Colin J Davies

Smaller Animals SoftwareIt is my understanding that the raid itself involved only a squad or two of special forces. But a marine corp company was nearby in a stand by/defensive mode. There would obviously also have been any number of air and ground support units involved.
