    We have a Sky box which does that. Unfortunately I also have Herself, who doesn't.

    Yes. My wife seems to enjoy the commercials more that the shows too. That's why we don't watch much TV together. She also insists on commenting on all of the action while it is happening! I will never understand women ...

      Then you find out your time machine divides by zero, and you're stranded there. Well done, Marc...

      Well, if it's a double, I don't get an exception, I get infinity! How fitting, haha.

      > double a = 0.0;

      double b = 1.0;
      double c = b / a;
      c
      ∞

        Into the future, or the past, and, be present as an invisible observer: when/where would you go ? I'll add my choice, later.

        Being big into genealogy. I often times wish I could go be an invisible observer to many events in my ancestors lives.

          I don't know about the first three. But I was in the Beaconette Lounge, at the bar, drinking a cold Dixie beer, waiting for the band to come on, and watched on a black and white TV (the Transmission was in B&W too), as it happened. It was very cool. :cool::cool::cool:

          Nothing was said about Elvis or Hitler on the other side of the moon, though.

          Yes, the broadcast was interesting to see. But there is probably a much better view when looking from the edge of the crater 190 meters away from the landing site. Best Wishes, -David Delaune

            I'd go way back to the moment life began on Earth. Not human life or dinosaurs or insects... the very first spark of life.

            The Beer Prayer - Our lager, which art in barrels, hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, I will be drunk, at home as it is in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, and forgive us our spillage as we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter and the lager, for ever and ever. Barmen.

            Paradoxically, some of the bacteria you brought with you on that time machine could be that spark of life! :)

              Well, hard to choose the future as we don't know what events will occur... So I will go back in time and watch the dinosaurs get wiped out.

              I would go back and just watch the dinosaurs live. People have speculated that the T-Rex was about as intelligent as a cat. Did it play with its prey as a cat does? Did it train it young to hunt? Inquiring minds want to know.

                No particular order: - October 11, 1492 to watch the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria before they step foot on Guanahani. - Febuary 07, 2862 to lobby the world government to remove the temporal non-interference treaty and extend coverage down to 2000. - III Akhet 8, I'd go and watch the construction work on the Great Pyramid of Cheops as it's being renovated by Khufu. - July 20, 1969 to watch Neil Armstrong step on the moon. Day early, mate. He didn't step out until the 21st (UTC, anyway). You've got a time machine, and you're wasting time?? :-D

                  Yes, about eight hours early I believe. Front row seats at the rim of the crater are expensive and it takes a while to coordinate the 700nm viewing ports so all 65,535 viewers get an unobstructed view. Besides, everyone wants to see them land too. :-\ Best Wishes, -David Delaune

                      Would that make all of the life decended from @Mike-Mullikin [Mulligans](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulligan\_(games))? Best Wishes, -David Delaune

                        Pity about the invisible observer bit. I'd like to go back to the library at Alexandria and save the lot.
