Sound of the Week
-
Kosuke Mizukami - Rainbow Summer (sung by Sayaka Kanda)[^] These past one or two years Japanese RPGs have risen in popularity. Series have been translated and new games were released in the west. One such game I'd never heard of was the Atelier series, apparently reasonably popular in Japan. I've wanted to play it for a few months now and so I bought it on Black Friday last week. Been listening to the soundtrack for a few months now too. So I opened up the game and heard this opening song, which I already liked. Had to close the game immediately afterwards because it was getting late, so I still haven't actually played it yet  Something to look forward to this weekend and the opening theme is SOTW! :D

 Good ... the intro made me think hmm ... I know it from somewhere :-). I think we had it on SOTW no so long ago. If this is true it means that it is really on repeat which is good :-) On my side, the algorithm gave me lately this oxidaksi [OxiDaksi - Avira - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXHEI5v1YW8) one of the comments says "it sounds still better when played at 1,25 speed" :-) I think he did not mean it ...

You are right! :omg: It was SOTW only two months ago and I forgot about it The Lounge[^] :omg: It's because Spotify uses Japanese kanji for the name of the artist and the title of the song, so I have no idea what it's called or who wrote/performed it. Had to look it up for these two SOTWs

For some reason I've listened to Come Away With Me a lot in the past. It is on some compilation album I used to listen. I'm not familiar with her other songs, but Nightingale has those same vibes. A bit to mellow for me this busy Saturday afternoon, but good stuff nonetheless
